"The Lady of Shalott"
Exclusive to English Vintage Design these gorgeous earrings are One of a Kind.
I have always loved the poem "The Lady of Shalott", written in 1832 by Alfred, Lord Tennyson, who was born just a few miles from where I live in the Lincolnshire Wolds. His poem was an inspiration for the Pre Raphaelite painters, and this is my favourite image by John William Waterhouse, painted in 1888.
Artisan Lindsay Drake lightweight porcelain charms with a 24kt gold lustre edge featuring John William Waterhouse's "The Lady of Shalott" in a Pre-Raphaelite style. Above the charms are filigree antiqued brass connectors, set with Swarovski crystal rhinestones, echoing the dark green and red in the earrings. They are shown with nickel and lead free antiqued brass ball posts with backers, but if you prefer hooks please select from the drop-down menu.
The charms measure approx. 33mm x 16mm
Full length from top of ear wire to bottom of earring 2.5in.
These are truly one of kind and will not be repeated.
