Rose panel suncatcher made in beautiful stained glass by Carole’s Glass.
I have been making single rose suncatchers for some time but was asked to make a piece for a golden anniversary and thought I’d combine it into a panel. Hope you like it.
The glass used in this suncatcher are yellow corella glass for the flower bud and green corella glass for the leaves. The boarder has been made from clear florentine glass with green glass in the corners.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed and foiled before being soldered together. The stems have been made from tinned wire. I have added a boarder of twisted tinned wire for added strength and decoration. This has also formed the hanging rings.
This measures cms x cms.
I normally post the following working day and this will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24 with Signature.
