We use Royal Mail for envelopes and small parcels. Larger parcels, including most artworks, are sent to either a Parcelshop or Lockers.
Although this is not as convenient as having a delivery to your home, it does offer two benefits. Firstly, it is much cheaper and no one likes to spend more than they have to, and secondly, the parcels are subjected to significantly less handling and so are much less likely to be damaged in transit.
If you prefer, we can arrange for delivery directly to you. Let us know, and we can discuss costs prior to shipment.
A long story but essentially involves retirement and the need to find rewarding activities both mentally and financially. It is early days, but we will constantly strive to improve all aspects of our work.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This Diptych is painted using Acrylic pigments and a pouring medium which allows the colours to flow on the two canvas boards. The blue and gold design stands out with a boldness over the white background. Two coats of resin will protect the painting from knocks and the UV rays in sunlight. The canvas boards are mounted on 5mm MDF sheets and then finished with a homemade black wooden frame.
Being acrylic pouring art, the piece is unique, and we will not be selling prints.
This is also our first item for sale and so will, of course, command an ever-increasing value.
