The crocodile recycled wrapping paper is the result of a collaboration with sustainable printer Planet Wrap It. Each design is printed on brown kraft paper with inks made from recycled ocean plastic. All materials have been sourced within England.
Product details:
50cm x 100cm printed recycled kraft paper, cut and pre-folded to A4 (for easy shipping)
(Please note that rolls are only available from Planet Wrap It directly and are not included in this listing)
When designing my seamless patterns I flip between hand drawn and digital illustrations. This crocodile pattern is a mixture of both. It is inspired by the salties (saltwater crocodiles) of Australia’s northern territory and the stunning wetlands of the Kakadu nature reserve. All wildlife featured in this paper can be found in or around the area.
Did you know that saltwater crocodiles can travel between saltwater and freshwater waterways? They have salt glands on their tongue to help them remove the excess salt from their body’s system.
