Full description
The origins of the Celtic knot are rooted in Paganism. The Pagans believed in and spoke of the infinite and cyclical nature of all living things. Before the Christian influence on the Celts in 450 AD, interwoven designs could be found in Celtic culture. Celtic knots were adopted into Christianity and remain a modern symbol today, so much so that you often see crosses adorned with imagery of Celtic knots.
We craft this version in Jesmonite, a remarkably durable material, and paint the accent colours with Acrylic Paints, ensuring each one is unique.
It would make an unusual and uniquely designed decorative wall hanging in the home or an excellent ornamental addition to the Garden.
Designed by Tom and Carole Scorer in Scotland
