The Gang of Pearls earrings - The pearls in these statement earrings are each unique, they absolutely don't match but they very much like to hang out together (literally) - a happy little gang of pearls! I wire wrapped these Chinese freshwater 'ripple' pearls (so-called because of their rippled nacre) in solid sterling silver and finished them with large modernist hooks. The earrings have some wonderful juxtapositions of texture, colour and form and will look great with a t-shirt, a wedding dress and everything in between.
Photos are taken in natural light with a Google Pixel phone camera with no editing.
About the pearls: the pearls used in these earrings are reclaimed nucleated Chinese freshwater pearls. Bead nucleation (a similar process to that used in salt water pearl production) is the most recent advance in Chinese freshwater pearl farming and results in larger rounder pearls than previous freshwater pearl farming techniques.
Your jewellery will come packaged in a cotton and linen pouch and gift box made from recycled materials.
