We have a few Olearia trees growing in the local area and I occasionally prune them. I had no idea what the outcome would be when I put it on the lathe but it's finished up as a real character! It's so tactile to hold that you can picture it's shape even with your eyes closed! Popped a teak foot on to raise it up a bit.

Olearia wood turned wet then dried creating an incredibly tangible and quirky little bowl with a narrow teak foot. Natural edge rim. Finished with hard wax oil. Size: H 8cm W 13cm.
