An illustration of a detail from the Early Medieval manuscript, the Lindisfarne Gospels. Hand drawn and printed on smooth, matte, 315gsm, archival quality, cotton rag card stock. Each card is then individually detailed by hand in gold ink.
The Lindisfarne Gospels is an illuminated manuscript created c. 715, in the monastery on the island of Lindisfarne, off the coast of Northumbria. The art style is known as Insular or Hiberno-Saxon.
Comes with a plain white envelope.
Sealed in a biodegradable, compostable cello sleeve.
