I am a retired tree surgeon so have always had a great interest in trees and especially bonsai,i have a vast selection of trees, all made from aluminium wire with different colours tried on all sorts of wood,or just standing on there own in a bonsai style, the blue wire is twisted and gnarled to give the effect of time with the trees, and the blue leaves stand out especially well against the rosewood and if the sculpture is standing against a light background with a light shining on it.

This beautiful sculpture is an amazing piece of coloured wire and extremely large piece of rosewood, the three trees are made of aluminium wire with the trunks and branches in silver wire and the leaves in blue, the leaves really do stand out against a light background,all three trees are shown clinging to the rosewood with a gnarled effect, the rosewood has two main colours,a light cream on side and dark brown on the other side, the wire has been carefully twisted to give the effect, and the leaves are made by rolling the wire around, the tree is standing on an oak plinth, which has a felt underneath to stop scratching on delicate surfaces,it is a perfect central piece of display, and is a perfect gift for anybody with a good interest in bonsai or nature, even just because the colours stand out so well,H,38 ,L,34 and W,24.mm
