Full description
These beautiful, timeless earrings are made with freshwater pearls, turquoise beads and gold filled beads that have been wire wrapped onto 14kt gold filled earring hooks. The earrings are 2.8mm in length with a 1.7mm drop below the ear wire.
Turquoise is one of the traditional birthstones for December and Pearl is the birthstone for June.
Pearls are associated with the 3rd and 30th wedding anniversaries and Turquoise with the 11th anniversary.
Your earrings will come packaged in a rose coloured, eco friendly pouch, made from organic cotton with 100% cotton drawstrings. Storing your jewellery in its pouch will protect it, and help to keep it shiny and in good condition.
Gold Filled Jewellery
Gold filled, also known as 'rolled gold', is created by pressure bonding a layer of gold to a base metal. For an item (e.g. a clasp or bead) to be classed as gold filled, the gold must be 5% of the total weight of that item. Gold filled jewellery is often deemed an affordable alternative to solid gold. It offers superior quality to gold plated jewellery and, with proper care and under normal wear and conditions, the jewellery should be tarnish-free and long lasting.
