I've always greatly enjoyed drawing people; and I have a passion of watercolour, which tends to get looked down on as a paint. I believe watercolour can be and is just as vibrant and relevant as any other paint to produce portraits in. I have only recently been brave enough to start offering portraits, having painted mostly landscapes or done book illustrations for many years now. I hope you can see in my work the passion for watercolour and the joy I find in portraiture.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Commission a portrait. 10" x 12". Order a portrait and drop me a message and we can sort out the details, I work from photos which can be emailed to me after ordering. I do offer other sizes so please feel free to contact me if you want something to a specific size before ordering. The examples here are watercolours, if you would like a canvas in Acrylic paint then please contact me before ordering. Prices are for unmounted pictures; If you would like the Portrait mounted there is an additional £20 fee. I can offer framing services but this again is dependent on the size and type of frame required for which there will be an additional fee. The time it will take me to complete a portrait depends on the number of figures in the finished painting a rough estimate is approximately 3 days per figure; this is only very rough as a single portrait with background can take a about week. the price listed is for up to two people or one person and one pet, there is an additional fee for more people or pets in a portrait, I am very happy for you to contact me and ask any questions or to have a chat about any ideas you have for commissions.
