As a kid I loved glow in the dark stars on my bedroom ceiling. I started making these glowing Fairies in a form when I was about 8 or 9 yrs old. My love of Folk law and Fairy law has continued into my adult life, as a result I started making these Fairies, the feel magical at night hovering in the corners of the room and floating across the dark ceiling.

Full description
Commission a Handmade Glow in the Dark Fairy. Each Fairy will be approximately: 12 cm tall by 15 cm (wings) wide. They will have an invisible elasticated thread attached to the back of each one for easy hanging. Each will weigh approximately: 45 g. Made from glow in the dark polymer clay, with glowing accents on the wings. Each Fairy is unique, and individually handmade, no type of mould is involved so each Fairy will always be individual. The wings are individually shaped, designed and modeled by hand, and given a fine coat of glow in the dark paint over the surface and a thicker layer around the edges. From experiments I have done these will last for years and years (decades if looked after). The glow depends on the intensity of light prior to darkness, so by placing them near a good light source you'll get a longer glow of up to an hour or more, the glow gently fades-out, and they can add a relaxing feel. These can be placed outside in good weather, for outdoor evening dinning or events; but make sure you don't leave them out over night as doing this continually will cause damage and effect the glow time.
