A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork. I just love creating pieces that captures the rugged beauty of the landscape in a moment in time.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap and send it on to the U.K. based recipient. Just send me the details at checkout.
Prior to posting, framed pieces will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse wrapping materials I have collected. The artwork will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed pieces, they will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(049) This original textile artwork is called, 'Today I Will Count My Blessings'. It is based on my interest in needlework and how it connects to personal and political histories through time. It would make an ideal gift for anyone with an interest in politics and needlework.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This is an original framed textile piece. It explores the increasing pressure on women to conform to challenging social expectations linked with ideologies. I have used various needlework techniques to link the present day with women who had or chose to pick up the needle. I have also used old buttons, painted wooden tags, old maps and texts to help signify the passing of time and sense of place.

- The artwork can be free standing or hung.
- The total size is 38 x 30 x 3.5 cms.
- It is signed at the back.

This framed artwork will be posted out by first class Royal Mail. The painting will be covered with glassine paper before it is carefully encased in bubble wrap (or equivalent). It will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box.
