Enjoy making characters and facial expressions and wanted a new challenge for the new year. I learnt new techniques such as blending colours and wet felting and using a book i got for christmas for inspiration.

Full description
A combination of wool and wood are used in this 3D head and shoulders sculpture of a pirate . He has a quizical expression which i really enjoyed making. He could be looking up at the crows nest on his pirate ship the " Salty Seashell " .
A rustic slice of real wood ensures he is balanced for display to which he is securely fixed. He stands at approx 17cm or 6.5" .
