When you want to add a little finishing touch but want to keep it subtle and understated this carnelian bar choker/short necklace is just the thing!
I have used three carnelian beads and wrapped them with a spiral pattern with bronze wire. They hang on a bronze chain with a short extender chain so can be worn between just under 15 and just over 16 inches or around 37-41cm.
Carnelian's deep orangey red colour add a splash of comforting warmth to any season and indeed helps to provide emotional warmth and comfort. It is a protective stone helping to guard against negativity and is also said to help with both menstrual and menopausal symptoms. It is also one of the birthstones for August so would make a thoughtful birthday gift!
