I was doing an assignment for University about the history of whaling and it brought to my attention the current plight of whales. They are magnificent, magical creatures I can't understand how they could be so devalued in terms of their contribution to the global ecosystem. I made this as a creative prayer for all whaling to cease.

Made using hemp, jute and acrylic wool yarn. The driftwood and raw quartz stones have been foraged locally. Measurements are including the driftwood.45cm width 50 height.
