Abstract Dichroic Glass Pendant on black waxed cord with sterling silver slider clasp for an adjustable length. I made the dichroic glass cabachon by layering different glass together with copper beads and then kiln firing where the glass reaches melting point and forms an organic domed shape. I also add a small steel hoop which is embedded into the fired glass. This whole process takes around 7-8 hours. Once the glass was ready I wire wrapped the steel hoop with fine copper wire to form the hanging bail and fitted to black waxed cord with a sterling silver slider clasp and smaller silver beads. Pendant measures approx 20cms and the cord can be worn at any length up to 28cms. Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted by me to my own designs using quality materials purchased in the UK.
