Cyanotype print is an early form of photography that doesn't use a camera. It involves painting light sensitive chemicals onto paper, laying foliage onto it and then exposing to bright sunlight to create the prints. Cyanotype prints are most commonly dark blue with white print. I love using flowers and foliage for my prints that I have collected and pressed from my own garden and the surrounding local area.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
A beautiful card made from an original and unique cyanotype print, and edged with 18ct gold leafing. This delicate print has been made using the cyanotype process and is in a lovely rich shade of dark blue with a crisp white botanical image - perfect for a special occasion or perhaps framing it as it is. The print is strong and will last a good many years, however I would advise keeping it out of strong sunlight to prevent any fading. The print has been mounted on a good quality card base, and been hand embossed to create a frame around the print. The card has been left blank for your own message.
Please note this is a unique item that has been hand made. The colours may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
The card measures 12cm x 12cm square and the print itself is 5cm diameter. It will arrive in a protective cellophane bag and board backed sturdy envelope. It will be posted Royal Mail 48hour Tracked. If you purchase more than one item I am happy to refund any excess postage costs.
