Old peeling painted surfaces are always so intriguing. This brooch was inspired by using up fabric scraps and adding stitched colourful details. An upcycled wool backing and handstitched brooch pin finishes the piece.

A unique brooch, inspired by a surface of old peeling paint! I created a textured surface using fabric scraps and added colour and texture with stitched free machine embroidery details.
