I think the Seahorse is such a fascinating creature, and I wanted to try to capture that in this piece.

Aquamarine, Green Aventurine, Micro-faceted Moonstone, Freshwater Cultured Pearls, and striking Blue Jasper combine to make a dazzling Seahorse necklace filled to the brim with beautiful genuine gemstones.
I used Tarnish-Resistant Silver Plated Copper wire to wire weave this complex design and to make every link in the neckline. This type of wire has a protective coating which means it doesn't tarnish like traditional silver and lasts a very long time.
The central body of the Seahorse holds a stunning Green Aventurine Cabochon, and the surrounding body contains gorgeous Aquamarine rounds and tiny micro-faceted Moonstone gems. The tail contains striking Blue Jasper while the bail and the head contain Freshwater Cultured Pearls.
The neckline took almost as long to make, with each individual link wire wrapped to contain Blue Jasper and Moonstone. I used Aquamarine and Freshwater Pearls to make the drops that dangle so delicately from the neckline. The necklace comes finished with a toggle clasp. The overall m
