The colour of the Onyx is so vivid that I wanted to make something that really pushed the colour forward.

I love working with raw copper. It is so malleable and twists beneath my fingers to create curving waves and intricate weaves. I use liver of sulphur to tarnish the copper which changes its colour, and when I polish it back, it achieves this fabulous lustrous shine and finish that highlights all the details in the weaves. Simply divine!
I have set a stunning Pink Onyx gemstone cabochon into the pendant and it gives the effect of a burning flame at the heart of the coiling copper petals. The pendant measures approx 4cm x 6 cm and comes fitted on an 18'' faux leather necklace which is extendable.
I will send this to you in a post-friendly cardboard box via Royal Mail first class post.
