I was inspired by Victorian memento mori and mourning jewellery, and their elegant gothic aesthetic.

Full description
This is a beautiful step cut cabochon dendritic opal, cut into the shape of a coffin. It’s set into recycled 925 sterling silver with beaded gallery wire and an open back.
I wanted to make something that was alternative but was still fine jewellery, and a little more delicate than most gothic jewellery you can find.
Pendant Size, not including bail: 2cm x 1.3mm
The necklace includes a 20 inch delicate sterling silver curb chain and will arrive in a gift box made of recycled materials.
