Full description
This garnet and Sterling Silver necklace features a genuine garnet gemstone, cut to a 6mm faceted ball shape, suspended from a fine Sterling Silver chain. It would make a lovely gift for a January birthday.
I've kept the design simple to focus on the beauty of the garnet, which is a natural rich red colour. The faceted cut means the garnet has some lovely sparkle to it. The garnet is suspended from a cup and peg drop and dainty bail.
The chain length is 16 inches (40.5cm) with an extension chain providing a further 2 inches (5cm) so the necklace can be worn at 18 inches if desired. The chain is finished with a spring bolt clasp.
All metal components are 925 Sterling Silver and the '925' stamp can be found on various components.
This necklace can be personalised by adding a Sterling Silver initial charm. Please use the personalisation option in the Options drop down menu and tell me which letter you would like in the 'Comments with Order' box at checkout. Please note this option is for 1 letter only. If you would like additional letters, there is a separate Sterling Silver Initial Letter item listing which you can add to your order.
It is normal for there to be very minor inclusions in natural gemstones and these are not considered detrimental to the beauty of the stone. Garnet symbolises love, luck, health, loyalty and friendship.
The necklace will be supplied in a gift box and will be shipped in protective packaging via Royal Mail Tracked service.
