I wanted to create something that had visual impact but not an environmental impact. I used materials from a life long collection of treasure. I'd enjoyed quite a few westerns also and appreciated the use of leather in different settings. The pearls were an obvious addition for me, I adore pearls, the more the better! every pearl is different, I tend to like the irregular shaped ones more sometimes but I have tried to find some uniformity in this piece.
All photographs have been taken using Welsh 'daylight' and is portrayed in a realistic way, so what you see is what you get .This piece was a joy to create, I hope you enjoy wearing it...

Tan leather, pearls and 925 sterling silver were used to create this contemporary and versatile piece.
Every 'leaf' has been cut by hand, shaped and finished with a substantial creamy pearls and sterling silver links to connect and form a fluid, eye-catching necklace with matching earrings.
all hard wear is sterling silver.
The necklace fastens on the right hand side so there is no awkward clasp at the back of the neck, just a smooth strip of leather.
the set is light weight and comfortable to wear, looks fab on denim
and most other colours.
the pearls provide a timeless quality that 'grounds' the leather.
The necklace measures approx. 35" long and sits nicely over a jumper, shirt and t-shirt.
The earrings measure 2.75" from tip of earring to the bottom.
Because the necklace is connected with links you'll need to straighten out and ensure leaves are flat before putting it on.
As with most jewellery, it is not advised to spray perfume on the set and the silver will tarnish if exposed to air for a long time.
A box will be provided when purchasing.
