Full description
This utterly adorable little elephant might be visiting us from an alien planet, or perhaps it has escaped from a particularly quirky book of fairytales! Regardless, it is now looking for a loving home. It has butterfly wings for ears and a wonderfully bright turquoise and green colour scheme that will cheer up any nook or shelf.
This sculpture was made in my Primrose Hill studio using paper mache and air dry clay, with bits of metal wire for a charming pair of antennae and glass beads for eyes. It was then coated with a sand effect acrylic medium for an interesting surface texture, and painted with highly pigmented, professional quality acrylic inks. It measures approximately 13 cm in width and 9 cm in height.
