Full description

Kamla Pendant

Kamla, better known as Lakshmi, is the 10th Mahavidya - manifestation of the Great Mother Goddess of Hindu and Himalayan traditions.

She is the goddess of abundance and brings the virtues of peace, progress, wealth, generosity, openness and kindness. Her epithets are 'Lotus Girl', 'Desirable One' and 'Radiance'. Traditionally she is shown sitting on a lotus flower, holding lotus blossoms with four white elephants continually showering her with water from their trunks.

My design suggests this continuous streaming fountain of abundance with the goddess symbol at its centre.

Size: approx. 1.75" x 0.75". Cut by hand from 1mm sheet silver and supplied with a silver chain in a presentation box. The piece is fully hallmarked (including the special 'Queen's Diamond Jubilee' mark, only available this year.)

Designed by Simon Hughes Lilly
