Sweet Osmanthus- Spirit of Openness"
This image is a visual meditation of the energy of the Japanese tree Kinmokusei, the sweet osmanthus. It is one of a series of images I made of Japanese trees using a combination of traditional and digital methods.
Like many of my artworks, I build up layered images to create depth and complexity.
Each piece is striking, but can really come into its own when looked at in a quiet meditative way. Then the shapes and colours, that have been designed to have a balancing and healing effect, can come into play.
An ideal focus for a meditation or healing space.
