Wych Elm Spirit Bowl: "I'm a Druid"
Size: 4" x 3.75" x 2" (10cm x 9.5cm x 5cm)
A hard-carved shallow bowl from Welsh wych elm wood.
The bowl rests at a slight angle, making it easy to gaze into it.
A lovely hard, close-grained wood, with a nice grain.
Feels very solid and weighty in the hands.
A unique tactile object that has a lovely feel and a lovely shape.
This piece brings in the energies of the Wych Elm Tree Spirit.
Wych elm is quietening and protective.
An excellent energy to use for meditation and travelling to different states of awareness.
The centre of the bowl and the base has the symbol of the Wych Elm Tree Spirit.
Around the sides is an extract of text in Medieval Welsh from 'The Book of Taliesin':
WYF KERDOLYAT. (wiv-care-dol-yat)
WYF KEINYAT CLAER. (wiv-cane-yat-clare)
WYF DUR (wiv-deer)
WYF DRYW (wiv-dri-oo)
WYF SYW. (wiv-si-oo)

which can be translated into English as:
I'm a craftsman,
I'm a radiant singer,
I'm as hard as steel,
I'm a druid,
I'm a sage,
I'm a maker.
The other panels around the side contain designs that evoke the energy of the Wych Elm Tree Spirit and bring in the unifying harmonious energies of the many different levels of perception and being.
This bowl can be held to encourage meditative stillness and grounded awareness.
Hold in both hands and relax with eyes open or closed. Use the words or the designs as a focus to tune into the calm healing energies of the Wych Elm
