Wych Elm Meditation Bowl: "Guardian of Dreaming"
Size: 3" x 3" x 2.5" (7.5cm x 7.5cm x 6.5cm)
A lovely hard, close-grained wood, with lovely warm tones of colour.
A unique tactile object that has a lovely feel and a lovely shape to sit in the hand.
This piece has been specifically designed to bring in the energies of the Wych Elm Tree Spirit.
Wych elm is quietening and protective.
An excellent energy to use for meditation and travelling to different states of awareness.
On the side of the bowl has the symbol of the Wych Elm Tree Spirit and its spell in runes and coded branch runes.
There is a short text from a poem by the Welsh bard, Taliesin:
RAC ERYR, ('rack-air-rear')
RAC OFYN AMHEIRANT. ('rack-ov-in-am-hire-ant')
which means:
"Beyond the eagle,
Beyond fear of harm"
There is a unique rune design that helps to protect the integrity of the Self when journeying through other states of awareness.
This bowl can be held to encourage meditative stillness and grounded awareness.
Hold in both hands and relax with eyes open or closed. Use the words or the designs as a focus to tune into the calm healing energies of the Wych Elm
This piece can be treated as a sculpture, or as a meditation piece to be held and turned over in the hands, considering the words, or letting them wash over the quiet mind.
