Rather than thrown on a potters wheel this fruit bowl is built from a slab of stoneware clay formed on a bowl mold which allows for a more organic shape to it. When dry I then carved out the flower shapes, added some flower heads for decoration. After bisque firing I glazed this with one of my favourite reactive glazes.

Full description
Beautiful carved stoneware fruit bowl. Glazed with a blue glaze that creates this lovely effect and gives differing shades blues and gold. This is one of my favourite glazes to use. The bowl is approx 11 ins (28cms) wide.
