This cushion is inspired by a traditional Indian motif that was stylised by 18 th century block printers in England. The town of Macclesfield in Cheshire was a thriving silk producer at this time and adopted this stylised " strawberry " as one of its fashionable designs.
Macclesfield is my home town, the patterns from this industry are a great influence to me and my designs

This luxury cushion is a true statement piece with its delightful " strawberry " design and its extra thick rouche trim.
It is made from a printed cotton hopsack cloth, measures 50 cm square with a zipped opening and a feather interior.
