Coreopsis plants were used to create gorgeous tones of naturally dyed locally spun wool yarn. Perfect for stripes and colour work in knitting, crochet, embroidery and weaving projects!

Full description
A beautifully soft blend of 100% British Lonk rare breed DK wool yarn. Approx. 100g per skein.
Fleeces are sourced, processed and spun in West Yorkshire for the Wool Circle. Traceable British yarn.
Lovingly hand dyed by me in small batches using natural dyes that are 100% sourced from the UK - either grown by me, responsibly foraged locally or purchased dried from a small family business.
Scoured, mordanted with alum, dyed and washed with pH neutral organic detergent in my kitchen or garden.
Dyed with: coreopsis plants.
Yarn information:
DK double knit weight, approx. 230m / 251 yards per 100g.
Please see the Wool Circle website to see which farms the fleeces came from that make up this yarn. Perfect for hats, scarves, shawls, blankets, gloves, cardigans, vests, jumpers and heavier weight tees. Next to skin soft for most people.
Care instructions:
Hand wash only in cool water with pH neutral gentle detergent e.g. Ecover delicate wool and silk, Greenscents.
Dry flat, out of direct sunlight.
Do not tumble dry.
