I am inspired by the highly decorated work of Delft. In this pieces I have combined that with wallpaper patterns of the 18th and 19the century.

Full description
Handmade slipcast earthenware mug, hand painted in a blue and white design which was inspired by 18th century blue and white wallpaper. The mug is 9.5 cms high and about 8 cms in diameter. All my cermaics are made by me by hand, either using the slipware method, handbuilt or thrown on the wheel. I then paint the design I have created onto the piece, and finally I glaze the piece. All pieces are fired at least twice to a temerature of about 1036 degrees.
