I really enjoy visiting coastal spots around Britain, we have some beautiful places. I think this comes from living by the sea for a portion of my life. One of my other loves is castles - especially learning about the social history of them. I am fascinated buy the tales they have to tell.

St Mawes Castle by Victoria Fletcher
St Mawes is a beautiful coastal village in Cornwall with a stunning castle dating back to Henry VIII. We visited the castle a few years ago for the wedding of our friends. It created the perfect backdrop to such a wonderful day and was a great choice for a shell painting with it being situated by the sea.
This tiny painting was created on a small stretched canvas, painted in acrylics before being varnished with gloss. The painting itself is just 5 x 5 cm and sits in a simple white frame, making the overall size 12x12cm.
Perfect for similar themed home décor, or for someone who loves castles, Cornwall or the coast in general, this painting catches the eye due to its small size.
Not recommended for rooms which are exposed to moisture such as a bathroom or laundry room.
The artwork will be presented in a brown box on arrival, with recycled cardboard strips to cushion its transport. This allows for a secure transport and the easy wrapping if it is to be a gift.
