Robins are associated with Christmas and the winter season. You feel happy when you see a Robin and their appearance seems symbolic, reminding you of someone or something good. I was thinking of my parents when I was making this and I felt peaceful and happy - I hope that this little character shares that feeling and spreads some happiness.

Full description
This robin has been lovingly sculpted from wool on a wire frame. He is proudly perched on a real clay pot, which is included.
Needle felting is a form of sculpture which takes many hours of skill and daring! Special barbed needles are used to tangle and compact the wool around a wire armature - thus the creation can be posed and he can stand or hold on with his tiny feet.
Height including pot 15 cm
Designed by Michelle Hickman in Somerset
