I regularly try new techniques. This piece uses a technique of manipulating glass powder to create images taught by Sarah Miller Glass in Canada.
The photo that inspired this piece is shown as the final image in the set.

This unusual piece of fused glass art depicts a stand of trees silhouetted against an evening sun.
This piece has been made using a sheet of streaky blue and white glass with an iridised surface, the top edge of which is uneven. The trees and sunset effect have been created using black and orange glass powder - and a very careful hand!
The piece is approximately 29.5cm wide, 10cm at its tallest and 3mm thick. It has been created using a hand-cut piece of art glass which has undergone a session in the kiln. It comes complete with a pair of specially designed supports that allow the piece to stand independently.
Please note that any other ornaments in the images are not included in the sale.
PS: This piece uses the uneven edge of a sheet of art glass. This is
known as a 'Rolled Edge', which is the result of how the glass is created.
