I love the structure that weaving creates and especially the technique of weaving double-cloth (weaving two layers of cloth at the same time). Whilst experimenting with double-cloth weaving I realised I could make these small booklets all on the loom with no need for cutting or sewing, perfect to turn into needlecases. I make each needlecase with wool yarns and wool felt, because a good quality needlecase will last a lifetime, I still use one my mum made at school in the 1960s!

Full description
Handwoven and handmade wool needle case to keep needles and pins safe. Great for sewers and crafters, keep all your supplies in one place!
I handweave each needle case using using a double-width technique to produce a perfect miniature woven booklet, without the need for joining front and back. Using wool yarns and geometric designs, this needlecase features chunky cornish cream organic wool and a multicoloured yarn to add flecks of colour throughout. I've added 4 leaves of 100% yellow marl wool felt to compliment the woven design.
Needlecase measures 12cm x 9cm.
