Welcome to my shop full of needle felt birds, artfully made in wool and natural fibres.
I am busy felting new birds and making plans for some exciting new collections for 2026. I only add finished birds to my Folksy shop, so you can rest assured they can be posted within 24 hours of ordering and will fly safely to you or a gift recipient within a few days.

Where have all the Song Thrush gone? I haven’t seen any in my local area for a few years and have felt quite bereft that such a beautiful bird has left my skies. I did see a few in a rural Derbyshire valley this April and this is what inspired me to pop one into my Christmas bell jar collection. If only I could add the song inside with this tiny bird, to sing to you on Christmas morning. I am sure you would want to save its voice for future generations to hear near you.

One-of-a-kind hand-made needlefelt wool Song Thrush standing on sparkly woollen snow in their own tiny hanging glass bell jar with a cork stopper and pretty ribbon.
Perfect in every detail, this once common garden bird of Christmas and winter measures just over 5.5cms long and 3cms tall, stands on tiny wire legs with teeny claws, a minute woollen beady eye and beak, and individually crafted flight feathers. Scaled to 1:4 of life-size, this thrush fits easily inside the 11cm height by 6cm diameter glass bell jar with integral hanging hook, which comes ready for the Christmas tree with its own colourful hanging ribbon.
All the birds in this bell-jar range are to scale against each other, and made to hang perfectly together as a set which would look just stunning on the same Christmas tree.
