I am currently making hats ready to stock in my shop; please pop back periodically to check what is for sale.
I aim to have some items ready to sell by end November 2024.
I started to sew following the loss of my husband as I wanted to make a memory quilt. This quickly led me into dressmaking for myself and I then discovered how to make bucket hats.
As I love a hat I decided to make them to sell for others to enjoy.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This bucket hat, including the binding trim used to join hat and brim together, has been fully hand made by myself using my domestic sewing machine. This has been made in a non-smoking, pet free home.
The outer hat and brim are made of a polycotton fabric, in navy with a nautical themed pattern.
The inner hat (lining) is a plain navy polycotton fabric.
A medium weight interfacing has been used in the construction of the hat to help it keep shape.
The internal hat diameter (head size) is approximately 21.5in or 55cm; the depth of hat is approximately 3.5in / 9cm.
Fully machine washable at 30%; cool to medium iron. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY
The materials used have been pre-washed prior to making the hat.
NOTE: as these are folded for postage, they may be creased upon arrival. If they do not drop out, use an iron on a cool to medium heat setting.
Items sent by Evri; standard 2 – 4 working days; signature required on delivery.
Postage is for UK mainland only although geographical restrictions and / or additional costs may apply to the Scottish Highlands; please check before purchase.
For returns: goods must be in original packaging, unused and unworn and in pristine condition to allow re-sale.
