Full description
Glass rod storage boxes - for use by glass artists. This storage box has a total of 25 pockets. Each pocket measures 30mm x 30mm - making this unit ideal for users with either limited space or smaller quantities of glass rods.
Each pocket comfortably holds 250 grams of glass, with space to spare (a typical bundle of glass is 250 grams).
I also supply dividers for these boxes allowing each pocket to be split into two - these are available on request. My final photograph shows some of these (removable) dividers in place. Please note that these dividers need to be ordered separately from the box (please message me with the quantity you require & I'll create an individual listing).
The storage box is made from 6mm thick MDF and is supplied without any surface treatments. The outer case has notched edge joints, giving the box a considerable strength.
This storage box is supplied fully assembled ready for immediate use and measures 19cm x 19cm x 30cm (7 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 11 3/4"). I also make larger storage boxes - listed separately.
