Full description
'Retreating Tide' original dry point print with added mixed media.
This is an original hand inked and printed drypoint print made by drawing with an etching needle onto a metal plate and once inked up run under pressure through my printing press. This is an artist proof or test print (from a varied edition of 10 prints) with added shimmery, pearlescent, subtle watercolour highlighting details. Other prints with mixed media from the series are listed separately and can be seen in the last photo.
The image measures 8x15cm (approx 3x6inch) across and is on paper measuring 12.5x20cm (approx 3x6.inch). The print comes unmounted.
Whilst every care is taken in photographing the artwork please be aware that colours can vary according to your monitor settings.
The materials used in the print are artist’s quality to ensure longevity but as with all original artwork it is best hung out of direct sunlight.
I am a full-time artist working on the beautiful Dorset coast which provides constant inspiration.
