The inspiration for the doll was mid century colours and the marigold design is taken from mid century ceramics

Full description
The body of the doll is made from linen fabric and has a hand embroidered face. The hair has been embroidered and crochet 'buns' have been added. Emmy is filled with polyester - polyfil. The pinafore dress is made from cream velvet and is hand embroidered with a marigold design. The dress is lined with my cotton marigold print.
The cardigan has been knitted on very small needles in stripes plus hand knitted socks have been added. All the clothes are removeable.
The doll is 30cms(12 inches) tall (excluding the hair "buns" )
Emmy does have some small buttons/beads so she is not suitable for a very young child to chew on.
