Full description

Leaf Brooch, Bead Embroidery Leaf, Goldwork Embroidery Brooch, Metal Thread Embroidery, Nature Love Gift for Her, Beaded Leaf Pin, Bead Gift

This lovely leaf brooch has been completely hand stitched, and features traditional bead embroidery, and goldwork embroidery techniques. It is finished with suede at the back, so that it sits nicely, and does not catch on clothing. The edges have been hand beaded to finish.

The brooch measures approximately 2.5 inches.

I am on a mission to make brooches cool again!

Goldwork is a traditional style of embroidery which uses very fine metal wires, that are stitched to the surface of fabric backings. I mostly use goldwork to create hoop art, but decided to experiment with using them for jewellery as well.
