This goldwork daisy and bee embroidery has been completely hand stitched.
It features two goldwork daisies - one in a rose gold colour, and the other in silver, together with a small bee, which has 3d wings which stand proud of the hoop
It is framed in a 6 inch hoop, which is finished at the back with felt.
Goldwork is a traditional style of embroidery dating back hundreds of years. It mainly focuses on the use of extremely thin metal wires, coiled in different ways to create different effects. This sit on the top of the fabric, rather than being stitched through as in standard embroidery. Due to the nature of this, some wires may have slightly sharp edges, so please handle with care.
Will arrive wrapped in tissue, ready to give as a gift, and will be accompanied by an Athena Makes care card
