Full description
This ruby red, dotted bauble on a clear background is handmade from Boroscilicate glass which is better known as Pyrex and is usually used in cookware and chemical glassware, which tends to be more resilient and resistant to shock.
Approximately 7cm in diameter. The stand not included – this is for display purposes.
It was hand/mouth blown method in my studio in Swansea near the picturesque Gower which has been the inspiration for a lot of my pieces. It has then been annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability.
The colours you see are all coloured glass (not painted) and incorporated with clear glass to give this unique effect. The colours on this bauble may look different with different lighting. As it is handmade it may have some slight imperfections.
