I find Claire Garland’s patterns truly inspiring and one of my favourites is the little fox doll. Love the expression on his little face and he really is a joy to knit!

Full description
Using the original Dot Pebbles pattern, this Fox Doll has been hand knitted by myself using a mixture of Merino and Alpaca yarns.
He is wearing a striped coloured sweater in shades of green and fawn which is knitted in lace weight yarn. He has some cozy felt trousers and a pair of pu leather sandals.
I’ve used plastic safety eyes and florist wire in his head, body, tail and all his limbs. This makes him super easy to pose!
The whiskers are made from horse hair.
He stands approximately 14cm tall. (Around 5.5inches).
As you may notice, he has a little pet mouse! These two weren’t planned to go together, but after completing the little mouse, which is also a dot pebbles pattern, I gave him to Fox to hold and they just snuggled in together. I can’t bear to part them now.
Please note that due to small parts and wire he is not suitable for very young children or pets. He is NOT classed as a toy but as a decorative item.
I’m now posting worldwide and use recycled or recyclable packaging. I use Royal Mail tracked service.
