I made a little French man years ago that was part of a machine embroidered picture. I found him whilst digging around in the mountain of fabric and bits that I have accrued and based this dolly on him ( he was flat ) but I might even make him again !

Full description
Sweet little rag doll made from tea dyed calico. She embroidered features and her hair has been painted with acrylics ( shoes also) then given a light sanding.
Her dress is made again made from tea dyed calico and has been entirely hand stitched, with embroidery, Suffolk puffs and mother of pearl one holed buttons. The dress has been gathered and tied with cotton cord. She can either stand or sit .
She is about 19 cms standing.
Dolly is not suitable for children and is sold as a collectable. X
