If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(100) This original painting is called, 'Airlie Monument'. It is based on my visits to this area for great views over the Angus glens. This would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
This is a small Scottish landscape painting. It is based on visits to Airlie monument in Angus, Scotland. The woodland path is surrounded by a sea of colourful wildflowers. The sky is a deep yellow to suggest a beautiful sunny day. The artwork has been completed in professional quality acrylics. I have used brushes, painting knives and my fingers to apply thick layers of acrylic paint across the canvas panel.
This small painting would make a wonderful Christmas gift. It will brighten up any small space and provide a sense of joy at being outside. This painting would look great on a shelf or side table, resting on its own easel.
