Full description
Gold filled beaded gemstone bracelet handmade with freshwater pearls and semi precious amethyst, lapis lazuli and phosphosiderite beads. The gemstones are spaced with gold filled beads, and the bracelet is finished with a gold filled spring ring clasp and extension chain offering a variable length of 17-20cm.
I use high quality, strong, flexible beading wire and all components are gold filled.
The amethyst, lapis lazuli and phosphsiderite gemstones vary in size between 2mm and 2.5mm and all three have an AAA gemstone rating.
Gold Filled Jewellery
Gold filled, also known as 'rolled gold', is created by pressure bonding a layer of gold to a base metal. For an item (e.g. a bead or clasp) to be classed as gold filled, the gold must be 5% of the total weight of that item. Gold filled jewellery is often deemed an affordable alternative to solid gold. It offers superior quality to gold plated jewellery and, with proper care and under normal wear and conditions, the jewellery should be tarnish-free and long lasting.
