Full description
One of a kind textile art featuring the beautiful blue and orange kingfisher sitting patiently on a low branch over the water , waiting to spot his next meal .
I have stitched this piece entirely by hand using a mixture of fabric scraps, batik remnants , cotton and metallic threads and beads. I have also stamped fish on the linen background.
This artwork is mounted onto board and has a 10 x 8 ivory mount - ready to be framed to your choosing - please be aware this artwork comes to you unframed.
In my last photograph I have shown what it would look like in a deep shadow box frame.
